Fairweather Exhibit through August 14th

An art exhibit featuring local artists, Robert Fairweather will be held at the Destin Library through August, 14th. The display is open to the public during library hours.

Robert Fairweather is a retired United States Army aviator and Destin resident. Fairweather’s early upbringing in Shanghai, China influenced his love of oriental art. Some of his paintings are studies of works by famous artists. Others on display have been influenced by general trends in oriental art or drawn from live photographs. Many of the paintings were completed to provide artwork in Mr. Fairweather’s home. Four beach paintings on exhibit were sold commercially.

Destin Library Director Jurate Burns notes that “the Destin community is enriched by these artists and the library is proud to exhibit their work.”
