Taco Bell Supports Summer Reading
This summer children ages 13 and younger will have a reading partner at the Destin Library thanks to local Taco Bell franchisees. Landers & Partners of Clearwater, Florida, on behalf of the local Taco Bell Franchisees, have supplied the Destin Library with Summer Reading Program coupon bookmarks. Bookmark coupons will be available at the circulation desk beginning June 12th.
According to Will Rogers, Reference and Youth Services librarian at the Destin Library, “children participating in the program must read 10 books during the summer-time period, record book titles on a special bookmark available at the library and then secure the signature of a library staff member before redeeming coupons at local Taco Bell stores.” “Support for summertime reading programs for children and young adults is a welcomed gift from our local businesses” Rogers said.
Area businesses interested in supporting summertime or event specific programming for children and young adults at the Destin Library are encouraged to call Will Rogers at 837.8572.
