Foreign Film Night!
The Friends Guild of the Destin Library will sponsor a monthly movie night featuring an award winning independent and foreign film on designated evenings at 7:00pm. The next movie night date is March 16th. The program is free and open to the public. Films are unrated and directed toward mature audiences. Seating will be limited to 60 on a first-come, first-served basis.

Synopsis: After stealing a machete from a market in Kigali, Munyurangabo and his friend, Sangwa, leave th4e city on a journey tied to their pasts Munyurangabo wants justice for his parents who were killed in the genocide, and Sangwa wants to visit the home he deserted years ago. Thought they plan to visit Sangwa’s home for just a few hours, the boys stay for several days. From two separate tribes, their friendship is tested when Sangwa’s wary parents disapprove of Munyurangabo, warning that “Hutus and Tutsis are supposed to be enemies”.
