Reception Scheduled for June 25th


A reception for a local photographer, whose work is currently on display at the Destin Library, will be held on Thursday evening, June 25th, 6:00 – 7:30 PM, in the library’s Calhoun Room. The reception is free and open to the public.

Local photographer Gary Ayers has been taking pictures for over 35 years. Mr. Ayers specializes in nature and scenic photography. Ayers notes that “photography is my way of sharing my view of the beautiful Emerald Coast and all its splendor and tranquility.”

The Ayers collection is composed of 30 unique photographs ranging in size from 7” X 7” to 11” X 32”. Subjects include the Destin harbor and beaches, sunsets, indigenous flora and much more.

Photographic Collection on Display


A photographic display featuring local artist, Gary Ayers, will be held at the Destin Library through June 30th. The display is open to the public during library hours.
